I was shocked when I saw that he wrote the captions himself. It's like he's writing as an internet funnyguy writing as an oblivious bully target. Amazing.

I know, right? And it's weird because it's this highly personal, effeminate, exhibitionist role-play presented, and is arguably somewhat successful as, an earnest media critique.

This sign was in the bakery section of my neighborhood supermarket in Shanghai. I think the message is that their croissants will make you irresistible to white women and your wife will be cool with it.

In threesome porno, sometimes one girl will get the majority of the attention, while the other girl just kind of hovers desperately. This window display in Suzhou, China used that imagery for their Spring 2007 fashion DOs and DON'Ts.

This massive ad is in a shopping arcade in Hiroshima, Japan. Women in Hiroshima are not giants that shoot lasers from their armpits, but it looks like the designer figured whatever happened to Godzilla probably happened to them too. He's a busy guy, he doesn't have time to check Wikipedia about pointless details. Plus, he hates looking at Jimmy Wales' face.

Oh F yes. My google reader just got so much better.Post #174 isn't showing up in the feed as of 1:43AM Pacific Time.It might be nice if the RSS feed got 900px or narrower versions of the images (with links to the full versions). Scrolling the images around in Google reader is not ideal. Maybe exclude GIFs from scaling if animated GIFs can't be scaled reliably/efficiently.

All the posts are showing now, it was probably just Google Reader's caching at fault.PS What's with the password box always being prefilled, is the PW that I use getting saved to a cookie or something? I retype it every time, anyway.

>>178Yeah, the caching seems to be a side effect of using Feedburner (30 min cache) and Reader (who knows when). Both Google products. With the number of engineers working there you'd think they could make it happen. But whatever, they're working on a drives-itself car. Hopefully the brakes and the accelerator are made by the same product group, so they'll communicate. Just kidding, I'm sure their car will be great.

>>178 For the images, the other field we have to work with is the thumbnails, which are currently set to 400px. Would that be better than using the full size? Let me know and I'll make the change.>>179 For this it's, yeah, a cookie or something so you don't need to retype. Little-known fact: The passwords are stored in the DB as plain text. Which means the admins of this style of board can always easily see your PW, so don't reuse something you use elsewhere.

>>185 I do think the 400px images would be better for the RSS feed. Can you set it up so that for posts with GIFs it uses the full size instead? Just don't want to lose the animation.

So I think the RSS is working with if not-a-gif then use thumbnail. please confirm. (here's a James gif for testing)but then I tried to apply the same test to this main board and Perl totally kicked my butt. I don't know it very well, and it's not forgiving.

>>240 The RSS feed is just right, now. Animated GIFs work and other files are sized nicely. I would love to see the main board work the same way eventually. Perhaps you just need to add more punctuation symbols? Perl joke!
