For years I've had a recurring dream where chewing gum gets stuck to my teeth. Maybe the dream starts off sexy or whatever, but once the gum sticks I spend the rest of it with my hands in my mouth pulling wads of it out. It's obviously an image of my inability to express myself when I get nervous.
