We can probably skip over his immaculate conception and childhood, as well as his early education (since this mostly consisted of being moved from one form of solitary confinement to another). In high school, he went from cartoons and flipbooks to photography, illustration, and computer animation. This is where halfempty came in.

The Rev. started out at halfempty by becoming hypnotised by Blink and James' Sunday cartoons. Soon he switched from animating GIFs to Flash, and started cranking out his trademark stick death on his FortuneCity site. When the playbin rolled around, he was happy to clog up James' mailbox with ways to mangle a stickman. Finally, the ministry was built to house these atrocities, and that's where they'll stay if he remembers to update his site often enough.
